Foremost Tech company, Google, today celebrated the posthumous birthday of Late Chief Oliver De Coque, one of Africa’s greatest music icons who died on June 20, 2008.
Chief Oliver Sunday Akanite who was more popularly known by his stage name Oliver De Coque, was born on April 14, 1947, and held the music world spellbound with his unique style of highlife brand of music that resonated with lovers of music worldwide.
He would have been 74 today, and to celebrate him, Google featured him as their doodle for the day.
