Breaking: New York Governor, Andrew Cuomo Resigns over Sexual Harassment Allegations

The Governor of New York in the United States of America, Andrew Cuomo has resigned from office effective in 14 days.

Cuomo made the announcement this evening in a live tekecast to the people monitored on CNN.

Andrew Cuomo’s resignation came on the heels of a raft of sexual harassment allegations leveled against him by 11 women in a report compiled by the State Attorney General.

Even though Cuomo had said in his speech that he was going to fight on to prove his innocence, the pressure on him proved to be too much for him to bear as he announced his resignation.
