The Deputy Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Mandela Egwuronu Obasi, was at the dedication of the twin children of Mr & Mrs Paul Kalu, an entrepreneur and political stakeholder in Ohafia Local Government Area of Abia State.

The event which held earlier today at The Assemblies of God Church, 14B, Cemetery Rd, Aba, also had in attendance the creme de la creme of Ohafia LGA and beyond including the House of Assembly Member representing Aba Central State Constituency, Hon. Abraham Oba, his counterpart representing Umuahia South State Constituency, Hon. Jerry Uzosike, the Abia State Commissioner for Trade & Investment, Chief John Okiyi Kalu, the immediate past Deputy Chairman of Bende Local Government Area, Hon Promise Uzoma Okoro (PUO) among others

In their goodwill messages, the Deputy Speaker, Rt Hon Mandela Obasi, Hon Abraham Oba, Hon Jerry Uzosike, Chief John Okiyi Kalu and other dignitaries thanked God for the family of the celebrants and prayed Him to grant the twins, Stella and Favour Paul Iroegbu long life in good health and prosperity.

In his sermon, Rev Okali Agwu who took his lesson from Ecclesiastes 11:1, “Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shall find it after many days”, admonished that training of children is a lifetime investment; whatever we give in is what the child gives out in terms of character and attitude. He therefore urged parents to instill the fear of the Lord in their children and bring them up in his knowledge, saying they will reap the fruits of such godly upbringing as the children will grow up to be useful to them, the church and the nation at large
On their part, Mr & Mrs Paul Kalu thanked God for His gift of twins to them and prayed that He blesses all those seeking his face for the fruit of the womb.

They also thanked the dignitaries and all those who came to rejoice with them at the dedication ceremony.
